Putin announced a 36 hour Easter ceasefire and then his forces immediately violated it. Zelensky asked if the Russians would agree to a 30 day unconditional ceasefire and Russia is still refusing to stop the war. The United States has declared that if Russia does not want to stop the war, then they are going to walk away and give up on trying to negotiate a peace deal.
